Harlem native Azealia Banks can’t seem to get out of her own way. After finally wrestling her album away from Interscope, she looked like she was on her way for becoming as famous for her music as she was for her mouth.
Just as her U.S tour was kicking off, she had to cancel it after reports that she assaulted a security guard broke.

Azealia Banks has instigated her fair share of Twitter beefs and diss tracks, but last month the MC found herself at the center of an actual physical altercation. According to TMZ, the Harlem rapper is being investigated by Los Angeles police after she and a group of her friends were kicked out of LA’s Break Room 86 for being “unruly” and attacking a security guard who was trying to keep them from pulling the club’s fire alarm.
Fast forward just a few weeks and it seems the dispute and investigation may have prompted Banks to axe her upcoming tour. The Broke with Expensive Taste MC announced the cancellation on Twitter yesterday afternoon, claiming she’s been “very busy at work” but plans to return in January. The canceled dates would’ve spanned most of November and included stops in Philadelphia, Nashville, Atlanta, and Austin (her 11/19 show in New York still stands).
That’s a big blow to her fans and could be a big blow for her career
